TRIUMPH TR4A IRS
By today’s standards the TR4 isn’t a fast car but that is to miss the point. Sat low and cosseted inches off the road surface, 109 mph feels significantly faster. So, when you’re doing 50 -70 it feels like 100 in a regular car and that’s where the fun and charm come into the equation. You just don’t need to go very fast in these to enjoy them. They’ve got terrific gearboxes (ours has overdrive) and so you’re transported back to time when driving was just fun.

TRIUMPH TR4A IRS: Features
It’s cosy inside so you’ll need to be at least good friends with your co-driver before you take our TR4A out for the day and we’d be disappointed if you haven’t had a hoot. Where to go depends on whether you want long stretches of open country roads or prefer quieter winding country lanes; the choice is yours.
